Emmanuel Treveno Cabajar

Emmanuel Treveno Cabajar CSsR (born October 8, 1942 in Handayan Getafe ) is a Filipino religious and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Pagadian .

Life

Emmanuel Treveno Cabajar joined the Congregation of the Redemptorists on July 2, 1961 while, put on 2 July 1964, the profession , and received on 18 December 1966, the priestly ordination .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Pagadian on May 14, 2004. The Archbishop of Cebu , Ricardo Jamin Cardinal Vidal , donated him the episcopal ordination on August 14th of the same year in the Mariahilfkirche in Cebu City ; Co- consecrators were Ireneo A. Amantillo CSsR, Bishop of Tandag , and Archbishop Antonio Franco , Apostolic Nuncio in the Philippines. The inauguration in the diocese of Pagadian took place on September 2, 2004.

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on November 22, 2018.
