The 2005/06 season was the 8th edition of the English Premier Ice Hockey League , which now represents the second division in British ice hockey after the British National League was triggered .
Mode and participants
Only English teams took part in the second highest British league. Two rounds were played with two legs. Two points were awarded for a win - even after overtime or a shootout - one point was awarded for a loss after overtime or a shootout.
