action

Members of two Hong Kong triad organizations face each other, the Red Honor under Hung 1 and the Clan of Four under Lui Fai. It's about the death of a four-clan member who was killed in an argument. Lui is looking for the culprit, when he thinks he has found him, he shoots him. Hung 1 catches the ball.

25 years later, Hung 1 comes to an end, he asks number eight, like Hung 1 and Lui, part of the Hung family , to find his gay son Georgie Hung Chi Kit so that he can succeed him as Big Brother. Number Eight and his son Kin are looking for Georgie in Bangkok , but only meet his best friend Sam there. Sam pretends to be Georgie and after learning of Hung 1's death they decide to switch roles.

At the funeral, Georgie and Sam meet Lui and his daughter Julie, who works as an insurance agent and tries to be independent of her father. They also meet Cheng Chow, the son of the man whose death it is initially about, he is Luis' deputy and seeks to destroy the Red Honor .

At a party at one of the clan's clubs, Sam and Julie have a drinking contest, after which Georgie takes them both to the car, where they are attacked by a group of men. These are led by Max Cheung, Chow's right-hand man. Georgie manages to fend off the attackers due to his skills as a kickboxer . When Cheung recognizes Julie, he and his men flee. After the attack, Number Eight clarifies the background to Sam and recommends him not to leave the property for the time being. While Sam meets David, a gay clan member, Georgie defends Julie against a pushy customer.

After Sam was appointed the new head of the Red Honor , a banquet with the other clan chiefs is planned, but none of them appear. An assassin attacks the event, with Kin being gunned down. He is not seriously injured, however, as the bullet was stopped by a pocket watch, a gift from Number Eight.

While Sam is modernizing the clan and, for example, abolishing chopping off hands as a punishment, Julie Georgie tries to change the polarity, so to turn him into a heterosexual. Meanwhile, Lui decides to marry Sam off to his daughter, which Sam cannot refuse. To prepare him for marriage, Number Eight and Kin Sam decide to reverse the polarity and send him to bed with two girls with the instruction to "lay her down". Meanwhile, Georgie has problems with his friend Frankie, while Julie tries to get along with him. Sam eventually refuses to marry Julie because her father hasn't asked her beforehand. Chow and Cheng reveal that Sam is gay and prove this with the testimony of the two girls whom Sam rejected on this basis. After Sam admitted this to Lui, Cheng wants to declare war on the Red Honor , which Lui prevents.

While Number Eight finds out the truth about Sam and Georgie's role reversal, Sam also reveals the truth to Julie. Then Julie and Sam are kidnapped by Chow's men. Lui was already captured at that moment. Meanwhile, Number Eight is clarifying the truth to Georgie for being sent to boarding school as a child. After the kidnapping became known, Georgie, Kin, David and several members of the Red Honor started a rescue operation. While the normal clan members fight, Kin and David fight Cheung. Meanwhile, the final battle between Chow and Georgie takes place, supported by Sam and Julie, who were able to break free. After a long fight, aggravated by the traditional sword of the Red Honor , Chow lies defeated on the ground. Georgie spares him and tells him to leave the past alone and to stop hating. When Cheung attacks Georgie with his sword, Chow stops him and they both leave the scene. In the end, Georgie and Sam are both named leader. Georgie gets back together with Frankie, and Sam and Julie become a couple.

Finally, Jackie Chan's cameo as Julie's customer, who wants to take out insurance.
