Eric Stehfest (born June 6, 1989 in Dresden ) is a German actor and author .
Life
From 2009 to 2013, Stehfest studied acting at the University of Music and Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" in Leipzig . In connection with his acting training, he worked at the Maxim-Gorki-Theater in Berlin .
From September 10 to December 4, 2013 he was seen in the RTL soap Unter uns in a supporting role as Yannick Benhöfer. From December 9, 2014, he was in the RTL soap Gute Zeiten, Zeiten Schlepp as Chris Lehmann.
In May 2016 he took fourth place in the RTL dance show Let's Dance with dance partner Oana Nechiti .
In the spring of 2017, Stehfest published a biographical book when he was 9 days awake , which deals with his ten year long crystal meth addiction.
“The junkie per se is wanted by the system and politics. The criminals are wanted, violence is wanted. This means you remain consumers and the big ones earn the money. After this understanding, I would stop immediately. "
From November 2019, Stehfest took part in the 2nd season of Dancing on Ice as a candidate. With his partner Amani Fancy he won the second season of Dancing on Ice . In the final, he stated that from now on he wanted to withdraw from the public.
On March 15, 2020, the film adaptation of his book 9 Days Awake , in which he is portrayed by Jannik Schümann , was shown on ProSieben . On the same day, a documentary about crystal meth celebrated its premiere in Germany, in which Stehfest deals with the current crystal meth scene.
Private
In November 2015 he married the singer and actress Edith Stehfest, who released her debut album Exit in 2019 under the stage name Lotta Laut . In April 2016, they became parents of a son.
