Erich Albrecht (born March 31, 1889 in Leipzig , † April 22, 1942 ) was a German football player .

Albrecht played from 1906 to 1914 as right winger for SC Wacker Leipzig in the championships organized by the Association of Central German Ball Game Clubs in the Gau Nordwestsachsen point games. With the blue-whites he won the Central German Championship on April 19, 1908 with a 3-2 win against Magdeburg FC Viktoria 1896 . In the games for the German championship , he and his club won 3-1 at VfR 1897 Breslau on May 3 , thus moving into the semi-finals. On May 17, he and his team lost 4-0 against BTuFC Viktoria 89 in Magdeburg , who also won the final on June 7, 1908.

Albrecht played his only international match for the senior national team in Oxford on March 16, 1909 . In the 0: 9 defeat against the amateur team of England , the outstanding goalkeeper Adolf Werner prevented an even bigger defeat. Even the runner row with Camillo Ugi , Josef Glaser and Paul Hunder was not up to the class of the English players.

As a player in the selection team of the Association of Central German Ball Game Clubs, he took part in the first ever competition for the Crown Prince's Cup.
