Erich Fried Society
The main concern of the International Erich Fried Society for Literature and Language is to promote German-language literature and in particular the works of Erich Fried through events and publications.
The Erich Fried Society was founded on November 22nd, 1989, exactly one year after Erich Fried's death, and the Erich Fried Prize , a literary prize donated by the Federal Chancellery of the Republic of Austria , Art Section, has been awarded annually since 1990 .
