Erich Weiß (engineer)

Erich Weiß (* 1939 in Halle (Saale) ) is a German geodesist and former university lecturer for land management and land management.

Erich Weiß studied geodesy at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn . He completed his studies in 1963 with his diploma thesis, supervised by Helmut Wolf , Possibilities and limits of the development of gravity anomalies in a power series for calculating the vertical deviation component of the central zone around the starting point . After completing his technical traineeship , he joined the land consolidation administration of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia at the Office for Agricultural Regulation in Bonn in 1966 . In 1968 the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität made him Dr.-Ing. Dissertation topic was: A contribution to the geometry of refraction . From 1976 to 1988 he was a department head at the State Office for Agricultural Regulation North Rhine-Westphalia and then until 1990 head of the Office for Agricultural Regulation in Siegburg . In 1990 he followed a call from the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität. In the successor to Walter Seele , Weiß held the chair of land management and land management at the Faculty of Agriculture until 2004 .

White is dedicated to diverse research topics, including land consolidation, the urban reallocation , the property valuation , the land law and land tenure systems and surveying historical themes. Weiß is the author of numerous specialist publications.
