Erik Ryman (born June 10, 1972 in Södertälje ) is a former Norwegian - Swedish ice hockey player who played for Djurgårdens IF in the Elitserien , among others, from 1991 to 2009 .
Career
Erik Ryman began his career as a hockey player in Sweden in Division 1, which was still second class at the time, in which he was active for one year each for Tegs SK and IK Westmannia-Köping from 1991 to 1993 . Subsequently, the defender was under contract with EHC Lustenau in Austria in the 1994/95 season , before playing for the Swedish club IFK Kumla from 1995 to 1998 , with whom he immediately promoted to the division in the 1995/96 season 1 reached. He spent the 1998/99 season again in Austria and won the Alpine League with VEU Feldkirch .
From 1999 to 2005 Ryman was in the Norwegian GET league for Vålerenga IF on the ice. With the capital city club he was national champion in 2001, 2003 and 2005 . There he was also able to recommend himself for a commitment at Djurgårdens IF , for which he scored one goal in 49 games and gave four assists in the 2005/06 season in the Elitserien , the top Swedish division. After spending the following season at HC Alleghe in the Italian Serie A1 , the Norwegian international played again from 2007 to 2009 in the second-rate HockeyAllsvenskan for AIK Solna , where he subsequently ended his career at the age of 37.

For Norway , Ryman took part in the B World Championships in 2002 , 2003 , 2004 and 2005 and the A World Championships in 2006 , 2007 and 2008 .
