Ernst Barlach Society Hamburg

The Ernst Barlach Society Hamburg eV is a public company founded in 1946 , which is dedicated to the sculptor, draftsman and writer Ernst Barlach (1870-1938). It has set itself the goal of bringing Ernst Barlach's artistic and literary life's work to the attention of the general public. The society organizes exhibitions at home and abroad and is responsible for the Ernst Barlach Museums in Wedel and Ratzeburg . In addition, the Barlach Society supports Barlach research and participates in promoting artists. The Ernst Barlach Society is also active as a publishing house and has published various publications about Ernst Barlach.
