Bundestag constituency Freiberg - Middle Erzgebirgskreis

The Bundestag constituency Freiberg - Mittlerer Erzgebirgskreis was a constituency in Saxony in the federal elections in 2002 and 2005 . It had the constituency number 162 and comprised the former districts of Freiberg and Middle Erzgebirgskreis . The predecessor constituency with a similar delimitation from 1990 to 2002 was the constituency Freiberg - Brand-Erbisdorf - Flöha - Marienberg .

Since Saxony lost one constituency in the 2009 Bundestag election and a major district reform took place in Saxony in 2008 , most of the Saxon constituencies were redefined. The constituency Freiberg - Middle Erzgebirgskreis was dissolved. The area of the former district Freiberg was the new federal election circle center axes assigned and the area of the former Middle Erzgebirgskreises the new federal election circuit Erzgebirgskreis I .
