Ernst Günther Bleisch (born January 14, 1914 in Breslau ; died September 24, 2003 in Munich ) was a German writer, journalist and radio editor.

Life

After his school days at Elisabethan in Breslau , Bleisch first became a bookseller, then a soldier in World War II . Together with his mother, he came to Bavaria in 1945 as a displaced person in the small town of Steinmühle near Mitterteich in the Upper Palatinate Stiftland . In October 1946 the two then moved to Munich, where Bleisch spent the rest of his life. From 1947 he worked there as a freelance writer, journalist for Münchner Merkur and as an author for Bavarian Broadcasting .

Bleisch's poems had already appeared in the Silesian anthology Das neue Lied der Heimat in 1941 . The first volume of poems, Traumjäger , was published in 1954 and reveals his elective affinity with Georg Britting . Heinz Piontek wrote in 1983 on the occasion of the collection of poems Zeit ohne Uhr with texts from the years 1952 to 1982: “Anyone who knows only little or nothing about Bleisch's poetry will be surprised to meet a poet here who is apparently one of the dying variety of poets . The poet's business is not the rigor, the collected, the artistic, the high flight of thoughts, but play, music, colors, dreams. ”Some of his poems were set to music by Ernst August Voelkel and Fritz Jessler.

As an employee and later editor of the Bayerischer Rundfunk, Bleisch was also the author of numerous radio plays and audio episodes, including the song from Silesia - a reminder of a German landscape - broadcast by the then Radio Munich in autumn 1948 .

In 1972 he succeeded the late Florian Seidl as head of the Munich water lily circle and from 1978 first chairman of the Wangen circle . He was also a member of the Toucan Circle .

His estate is in the Munich Monacensia .
