Ernst Krause (Councilor)

Ernst Krause (born January 21, 1876 in Cottbus , † February 18, 1963 in Wiesbaden ) was a Prussian administrative officer . He was mayor of various communities (1905–1920), councilor (1926–1944) and representative of the district administrators in Gelnhausen ( Gelnhausen district ) and Rüdesheim ( Rheingau district ) in the then Prussian province of Hesse-Nassau, who were absent due to the war . Origin and family

Krause was the son of a building contractor in Cottbus. After more than 50 years of service, he died at the age of 87 in Wiesbaden.
