Ernst Raydt

Ernst Raydt (born October 3, 1880 in Ratzeburg , † January 22, 1929 ) was a German football player .

Raydt belonged to FC Wacker 1895 Leipzig as a goalkeeper in the 1899/1900 season and from 1900 to 1906 to city rivals VfB Leipzig . For the latter, he played in the championships organized by the Association of Central German Ball Game Clubs from the 1901/02 season onwards throughout the Gau Northwest Saxony , the regional highest division, his point games. During his club membership he won five regional titles with the team and was used in the final round of the German championship in 1903 and 1906. On May 10, 1903 he played in the quarter-finals, won 3-1 against BTuFC Britannia 1892 in Berlin , as well as in the semi-final won 6-3 against Altonaer FC 1893 in Leipzig . He also won the championship finals held on May 31, 1903 on the parade pasture in Altona , the very first in German club football, with his club; the DFC Prague was defeated with the result of 7-2. In the final round of the German Championship in 1906, Johannes Schneider played for him ; As a second goalkeeper belonging to the team , he could still call himself German champion.
