Ernst Sigismund Puchelt

Ernst Sigismund Puchelt (born November 8, 1820 in Leipzig ; † February 6, 1885 ibid) was Reich High Commercial Judge and Judge .

Life

Puchelt from Baden came to Baden as a child in 1824 when his father Friedrich August Benjamin Puchelt was appointed to the University of Heidelberg. Puchelt was Protestant. From 1837 he studied law in Heidelberg. In 1842 he received his doctorate summa cum laude . In the same year he took the oath on the sovereign of Baden. In 1848 he first became a lawyer, but came to Wertheim the following year as a district assessor . In 1849 he married a daughter of Friedrich Bernhard Gottfried Nicolai . In 1851 he was transferred to the court court in Constance as an assessor, and in 1854 to Bruchsal. In 1856 he was promoted to court judge. With the introduction of the new Baden court system, he came to Baden-Baden on October 1, 1864 as district court director. In 1868 he was transferred to Heidelberg. In 1869 he was appointed district and court court director in Karlsruhe. In the spring of 1871 he became president of the legal examination board. In July 1871 he was sent to the Reich Higher Commercial Court to represent Baden . When the Reich Laws of Justice came into force , he came to the Reich Court . He was in the II. Criminal Senate , III. Criminal Senate and in the Second Civil Senate of the Reich Court .
