Ernst von Heyden (politician, 1837)

Ernst Carl Wichard von Heyden , also Ernst von Heyden-Leistenow (born November 29, 1837 in Stettin ; † June 14, 1917 ) was a German landscape director of Western Pomerania and a member of the Prussian manor house .

Life

Ernst von Heyden was the son of Chamberlain and District Administrator Hermann von Heyden (1810-1851) on Leistenow . He attended the Sundisches Gymnasium in Stralsund from 1849 to 1857 . He then studied law and camera science in Heidelberg , where he became a member of the Corps Vandalia , and Berlin . In 1859 he began his military service with the 2nd Guard Uhlan Regiment in Berlin and took part with the rank of lieutenant in the campaign of 1866 to Silesia and Bohemia and in the Franco-Prussian War of 1870/71. In 1891 he finished his military career as a major and devoted himself to the management of his estates Leistenow and Buschmühl with Flemendorf and Neu-Gatschow.

He was a deputy of the Demmin district , from 1894 to 1913 a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and a member of the Prussian manor house. In 1888 he became landscape director of the Western Pomeranian department of the Pomeranian landscape . From 1914 to 1916 he represented, popularly known as the war district administrator , the Demmin district administrator Gottfried von und zu Gilsa , who had been drafted for military service .

Ernst Carl Wichard von Heyden was married to Camilla von Neumann (1849–1919) since 1866. The marriage remained childless.
