Erwin Zinger

Erwin Zinger (born March 15, 1899 in Stuttgart , † October 20, 1982 there ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

After attending primary school, Zinger completed a commercial apprenticeship and worked as a commercial clerk in Munich and Mannheim since 1916 . He moved to Ludwigsburg in 1926 , where he also did a commercial job, most recently as an authorized signatory. From 1939 to 1940 he took part in the Second World War as a soldier . He was also a member of the regional synod of the Evangelical Church in Württemberg from 1953 to 1957 .

Zinger joined the CDU in 1946 and was chairman of the CDU district association in Ludwigsburg from 1956 to 1963. In addition, he was the founder and director of the Ludwigsburg Hermann Ehlers Circle . From 1946 to 1975 he was a member of the municipal council of the city of Ludwigsburg and there for a long time deputy chairman of the CDU parliamentary group. From 1966 to 1971 he was a member of the district council of the Ludwigsburg district .

In the state elections in 1964 , Zinger was elected as a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg , to which he belonged until 1968, through a second mandate from the Ludwigsburg II constituency .

Erwin Zinger was married and had five children.
