The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Lubango ( Latin : Archidioecesis Lubangensis ) includes the province of Huíla and other regions in southern Angola.

history

On July 27, 1955, the diocese of Sá da Bandeira was founded, which was initially a suffragan of the archdiocese of Luanda . On February 3, 1977, the diocese itself was raised to an archdiocese and was named Lubango .
