action

The very young and shy Peter Lauterbach attends a seminary because he is completely immersed in his faith in God and is determined to serve the Catholic Church. Now he is about to be ordained a priest and would like to spend a few more carefree days in the countryside in Schleswig-Holstein before he turns away from everything worldly for the rest of his life. There he got to know the Bergmann family, which also includes the beautiful 17 year old daughter of the house Annika, blonde temptation type.

The girl is lovely and tries to turn the head of the future man of God with her radiant charm. The couple, who are not allowed to be, even visit a fortune teller together to find out more about their future and destiny. Soon Peter threatens to fall in love with the enchanting virgin maiden. The temptation is enormous, but in the end Peter does not allow himself to be deterred by either his “moral” steadfastness or his professional intentions. After a brief moment of mental “sin” and “carnal desire”, he returns to his prayer book and is now more certain than ever that his future should be in the service of God.

Veit Harlan was involved in the directing without a name. Cutter Wolfgang Wehrum also worked as an assistant director.
