Esko is a settlement on community-free area in Carlton County to the west of the US -amerikanischen state of Minnesota . For statistical purposes, the place has been combined to form a census-designated place (CDP) . In 2010 Esko had 1869 inhabitants.

Esko is about 5 km northwest of the border with Wisconsin at 46 ° 42'21 "north latitude, 92 ° 21'48" west longitude and extends over 12.59 km². The place is in the center of Thomson Township .
