Saint-Onneau church

Esquibien ( Breton At Eskevien ) is a town and commune Déléguée in the French commune of Audierne with 1,541 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Finistère in the region of Brittany .

The municipality Esquibien became a district of the municipality Audierne on January 1st, 2016.

location

The place is located in the southwest of Brittany near the Atlantic coast on the Cap Sizun peninsula . Quimper is 33 kilometers (km) east, Brest 40 kilometers north and Paris about 520 kilometers east of Esquibien (as the crow flies ).

The liner Enez-Sun III sails daily from the small port of Sainte-Evette to the Île de Sein .

At Quimper and Châteaulin , the next departures are on European route 60 (Brest- Nantes ) and regional train stations are on the mostly parallel railway line.

The Brest train station is the terminus of the TGV Atlantique to Paris and the airports Aéroport de Brest Bretagne near Brest and Aéroport de Lorient Bretagne Sud near Lorient are the nearest regional airports .
