Adventure area Esterauniederung

Since 2007 the NABU district group Uelzen has been developing the "Esterauniederung experience area" between Könau and Kroetzmhle. Among other things, through the creation of still waters, extensive grazing areas, maintenance of a circular path and the construction of an observation tower. The grazing of the leased areas with Dülmen horses and Dexter cattle is looked after by the socio-therapeutic facility "Martinshof Klein Bollensen".
