Location Etajimas in Hiroshima Prefecture

Etajima ( Japanese 江 田島 市 ) is a city in Hiroshima Prefecture in Japan . It extends over the islands Eta-jima and Nōmi-jima in the bay of Hiroshima. In Etajima the Mikan Marathon and The Kakikaki Marathon take place.

history

The city of Etajima was formed on November 1, 2004 from the union of the community Etajima ( 江 田島 町 , -chō ) of the district Aki with the communities Nōmi ( 能 美 町 , -chō ), Ōgami ( 大 柿 町 , -chō ) and Okimi ( 沖 美 町 , -chō ) of Saeki County.
