The Ettenbach is a left tributary of the Felchbach near Ettenstatt in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district in Central Franconia .

The Ettenbach rises near the nature reserve Märzenbecherwald near Ettenstatt at an altitude of 484  m above sea level. NN south of Ettenstatt and north of Kaltenbuch on the edge of the Albtrauf a plateau of the Weißenburger Alb , a mountain range of the Franconian Alb . It flows in a north-westerly direction and feeds some ponds near Ettenstatt. The stream flows through Ettenstatt underground and canalized, it emerges at the other end of the village not far from the primary school. Then the Ettenbach flows out at an altitude of 439  m above sea level. NN north of Ettenstatt and not far from the district of Burg from the left into the Felchbach. The Ettenbach crosses a wide open landscape during its entire course .
