Yevgeny Michailowitsch Litwinkowitsch ( Belarusian Яўген Міхайлавіч Літвінковіч ; Russian Евге́ний Миха́йлович Литвинко́вич * November 4, 1982 in Shodsina , Belarusian SSR singer ) is a Belarusian singer. In 2012 he was a finalist of the show Ukrayina maye talant 4 and in early 2013 the superfinalist of the show X-Factor 3 .

biography

Childhood and youth

Yevgeny Litwinkowitsch was born on November 4, 1982 in the Belarusian city of Shodsina into the family of the shoe master Michael Litwinkowitsch and the photographer Nadeschda Litwinkowitsch. After the early death of his father, the older sister helped with Yevgeny's upbringing.

At the age of seven he attended a school with a focus on music and choreography lessons. At the age of 10 he was enrolled in the art school from which he graduated with honors. At the same time Litwinkowitsch studied martial arts ( judo and sambo ) and became a candidate in sambo. He took part in the Russian television show KVN .

After the 9th grade, he went to a school with a focus on art and restoration, which he later left without a degree, but founded his own business, a shop for glasses and gloves on the local market. In addition, he first opened an open-air disco «Cell», and then a night club «Extra», the restaurant «Paradiese» and a small café «Bei Zheka».

Beginning of the musical career

Parallel to his work in the market Litwinkowitsch got a part-time position as a sound engineer in DK «Rovesnik», where he worked under the direction of Nelly Hambardzumyan . Here his musical talent was noticed and he was offered to continue his musical activity.

In 2007 Yevgeny took part in the city festival "Zhodino Spring", where he won a singing competition.

In 2009 he became a finalist of New Voices of Belarus among a selection of soloists for the state orchestra. and recorded a duet with the Belarusian singer and participant in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 , Aljona Lanskaja .

In July 2009 Litwinkowitsch won the 10th Interregional Young Singers Competition in the Russian city of Velish , Smolensk Oblast .

From 2009-2010 he took part in a project for the Belarusian TV channel ONT. At the beginning of 2012 Litwinkowitsch was in the preliminary round of the Show Talent Academy on the ONT channel, but left the competition after the first live broadcast.

Litwinkowitsch took part in the qualifying rounds of the “New Wave” competition for four years - 2010, 2011 (finalist), 2012; 2013 as a candidate from Ukraine.

In 2012 he took part in the international art festival «Slavic Bazaar» in Vitebsk.

Success in Ukraine

Ukrayina maye talant

After the preliminary decision for the fourth season of Ukrayina maye talant in Minsk , Litwinkowitsch was invited to the show. He participated with the song "Sweet People", which the Ukrainian singer Alyosha performed at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest . The performance delighted the jury and the audience and Yevgeny made it to the semifinals, where he sang the song Moj Fetisch ( Eng : My Fetish ) by Lolita Miljawskaja live . According to the will of the jury Litwinkowitsch was eliminated, but was voted into the final by the audience, where he appeared with Diana Arbenina's song Katastrofitscheski (German: Katastrophal ) and took third place.

X-Factor

In the fall of 2012, Yevgeny Litwinkovich took part in the third season of the Ukrainian edition of the vocal talent show X-Factor . Litwinkowitsch became the show's superfinalist and reached 2nd place in the audience vote, behind the winner Aida Nikolaichuk . After the show ended, Yevgeny Litwinkovich went on tour together with other participants in 19 cities in Ukraine (January 12 - February 3, 2013).

Solo career

Snaki Sodiaka (Sign of the Zodiac)

After the end of the show X-Factor , Yevgeny signed a 5-year contract with the STB channel and began work on the first album.

On March 7, 2013, at the “Spring Factor” concert on International Women's Day , Litwinkowitsch presented his first song “Snaki Sodiaka” (“Sign of the Zodiac”).

Litwinkovich actively worked on new songs and the recording of his first album «Snaki Sodiaka» («Signs of the Zodiac»), and makes many performances in various cities of Ukraine.

On April 2 and 3, 2013 the video for the song “Snaki Sodiaka” (“Sign of the Zodiac”) was shot; the director of the video was Maxim Litvinov. The video was released on May 23.

On April 6, 2013, a big fan meeting was held by Yevgeny Litwinkowitsch, where he announced his first concert planned for May 31. In the second half of April, tickets began to be sold, which were sold within just a week. Therefore an additional concert was planned. Both concerts were held in the hall of the National Music Academy of Ukraine called P. Tchaikovsky (Kiev Conservatory) with a full house.

During the concert the first CD "Snaki Sodiaka" ("Signs of the Zodiac") was presented, which in addition to the song of the same name, also two other songs Yevgeni "Wot tak-to lutschsche" ("That's much better") and " K Tebe ”(“ To You ”), the song“ Mama ”(music by L. Breite, Y. Vashchuk; lyrics by Tambovtseva), as well as 4 songs that were performed in the show X-Factor .

After the impressive success of the first concerts, Yevgeny Litwinkovich has announced the preparations for the tour in Ukraine. In August 2013, a video for the song “K Tebe” (“Zu Dir”) was shot by the renowned music video director Alexander Filatovich. Presentation of the video will take place on the main square of Kiev on the big screen, after the Flash Mob organized on the initiative of the producer and singer and supported by fans .

Concert tour «K Tebe» («To You») took place in 14 largest cities in Ukraine from November 6th to 21st, 2013. Simultaneously with the start of the tour, the first album came out, the 4 songs from the album «Snaki Sodiaka» («Signs of the Zodiac»): «Mama», «K Tebe» («To you»), «Wot tak-to lutschsche ”(“ That's much better ”),“ Snaki Sodiaka ”(“ Sign of the Zodiac ”), as well as new songs, most of which were written by Yevgeny himself. One of the songs - «Anomalia» («Anomaly») - was presented on October 16, 2013 on the Ukrainian music channel.

As a result of the work carried out in 2013, Yevgeny Litwinkovich received the «Breakthrough of the year» from the show «The incredible truth about the stars», on the STB channel .

Eurovision Song Contest 2014

On December 21, 2013 Litwinkowitsch took part in the national selection of Ukraine for the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 with the song Streljanaja Ptiza ( Shoot the bird ) and finished 8th out of 20 according to the result of the vote by the audience and the jury.

Sdes i Sejtschas (Here and Now)

In spring 2014 the song “Mirashi” (“Mirages”) was released, dedicated to the tragic events surrounding the Euromaidan in Ukraine. The song was written by Maria Zhitnikova, a participant in the show X-Factor . Litwinkowitsch began work on a new album.

In May 2014 in the finale of the show Ukrayina maye talant 6 , Yevgeny Litwinkovich presented the title track of the album “Sdes i Sejtschas” (“Here and Now”), and the song in the Ukrainian language “Dijdu do mety” (“I'm going to the goal go »), written by another participant in the show X-Factor Arkady Voytyuk.

In the same year Litwinkowitsch and the channel STB prematurely broke the cooperation agreement, according to which the artist now continues his career independently.

In the summer of 2014 Yevgeny Litwinkovich recorded the song “Ohotnitsa” (“Huntress”) with the Ukrainian singer Renata Stiefel.

In the second half of 2014, the singer had several tours in Ukraine . On November 25, 2014, the album “Sdes i Sejtschas” (“Here and Now”) was released and Yevgeny Litwinkovich led a tour in support, covering the 12 cities in Ukraine. The new album contains new songs written by Litwinkowitsch, as well as by other authors, and several songs from the first album "K Tebe" ("Zu Dir").

Notre-Dame de Paris

On March 28 and 29, 2015, the premiere of the concert with songs from the musical “Notre-Dame de Paris” took place in the Ukrajina Palace in Kiev . Yevgeny Litwinkowitsch got the role of Kloppen, the king of the place of miracles. Yevgeny Litwinkowitsch performed the following songs: “Les Sans-Papiers”, “La Cour des Miracles”, “Condamnés - solo”, as well as “Fatalité”, “Où Est-Elle?”, “Libérés”, “L'Attaque de Notre - Lady »- together with other soloists.

love and peace

From April 16 to May 27, 2015 Litwinkowitsch toured through twenty Ukrainian cities with the concert program “Love and Peace”. The aim of the tour was to increase positive attitudes during a difficult period of the war in Donbass . Simultaneously with the start of the tour, the fourth CD by Yevgeny Litwinkowitsch was released, which includes 19 of the best songs from the artist's repertoire.

After returning from the tour, on May 29, Yevgeny Litwinkovich won the “Singer of the Year 2014” award according to the results of the Ukrainian competition of social preferences “Favorites of Success”.

Work and recognition in Belarus

From late November to early December 2013, Yevgeny took part in a music marathon in the city of Baranavichy . As part of the project, he performed the song “Mama” by Leonid Shirin at a recital, took part in a concert by the finalists of the talent show “Talent Academy” and won the “Song of the Year - 2013” ​​award.
