Sound body
In November 2015, Europamusicale founded the Europamusicale Festival Strings as a new ensemble. The foundation's board of directors has decided to accompany selected cultural measures through this project orchestra, which in the long term is to become the established orchestra of the European music festivals Europamusicale. A particular focus of the line-up is on promoting young musicians. The Europamusicale Festival Strings consist of experienced musicians and up-and-coming artists who are promoted on the concert platform and gain experience in professional ensemble playing. This gives the young musicians the opportunity to make music with well-known conductors and soloists and to perform in renowned concert halls and leading festivals at home and abroad.
The first concert took place on November 4th, 2015 in the Prinzregententheater in Munich . The soloist was the flautist Michael Martin Kofler, and Hansjörg Albrecht was the conductor.
