The EFF European Finance Forum is a non-profit association for imparting financial knowledge based in Frankfurt am Main . He organizes information events on financial topics in several European cities; Both guests and members can participate.

history

The association was founded in 1989 initially as the Frankfurter Finanz-Forum (FFF) to enable a continuous exchange of current information on banking and finance. From 2000 the association expanded and established locations in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Munich and Stuttgart, and from 2005 also outside of Germany, in Vienna, Amsterdam and Luxembourg. Lecture events with well-known speakers from the financial sector take place regularly at all locations. Once a year, the European Finance Forum organizes a national annual event.

aims

The European Finance Forum has set itself the goal of identifying and addressing relevant current and future issues in the financial sector, promoting knowledge and the exchange of experience in the financial sector and thus making a contribution to the convergence and harmonization of the European financial markets. In addition, it wants to represent a network and a platform for executives from the financial sector. The non-profit association does not pursue any commercial goals.

structure

The EFF European Finance Forum is a registered association . It is run by a voluntary board of directors and advised by an advisory board. Voluntary regional boards organize the regular events, the so-called EFF meetings, at the individual locations. The services are financed through membership fees, donations, the commitment of sponsors and the fee waiver of the speakers.
