Eusebius Joseph Beltran KC * HS (born August 31, 1934 in Ashley , Pennsylvania , USA ) is emeritus Roman Catholic Archbishop of Oklahoma City .

Life

Eusebius Joseph Beltran was ordained a priest for the diocese of Atlanta on May 14, 1960 .

On February 17, 1978 Pope Paul VI appointed him . as the first bishop of the newly founded diocese of Tulsa . He received his episcopal ordination on April 20, 1978, the Archbishop of Oklahoma City, Charles Salatka ; Co- consecrators were Thomas Andrew Donnellan , Bishop of Atlanta and Andrew Joseph McDonald , Bishop of Little Rock .

On November 24, 1992, he was named Archbishop of Oklahoma City by John Paul II . On December 16, 2010, Pope Benedict XVI. Beltrans retired from the office of Archbishop of Oklahoma City for reasons of age.

Eusebius Beltran is Grand Commander of the Order of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem of the US Lieutenancy Southwestern Lieutenancy . He was awarded the Silver Palm of Jerusalem for his commitment . He is a member of the Columbus Knights .
