Evangelical-Catholic Commentary

The Evangelical-Catholic Commentary (EKK) is a large series of commentaries on the New Testament . This is published and written by authors of the two denominations mentioned .

In 2002, the fourth volume of the most extensive commentary on the Gospel of Matthew in the German-speaking world was published . There are now a total of 37 volumes for almost all books of the New Testament. The volumes appear at the same time in the Catholic Patmos Verlag (originally by Benziger ) and in the Protestant Neukirchener Verlagsgesellschaft .
