Evangelical parish hall Lübars

The Lutheran parish hall Lübars ( listen ? / I ), built between 1938 and 1940 according to plans by Winfried Wendland , is located at 115 Zabel-Krüger-Damm in the Berlin district of Lübars in the Reinickendorf district . Audio file / audio sample

The T-shaped building complex consists of a hall church and a right-angled adjoining building wing in which offices and community rooms are housed. The single-storey masonry structure is faced with clinker bricks. The structure with the church hall has a retracted semicircular apse . The portal in the gable to the street has a wall and is covered with a segmental arch .

The roof trusses were left visible inside.

On the mezzanine is an organ from the workshop of Wilhelm Sauer . The building was started in 1964 by Michael v. Möllendorff repaired and changed slightly inside.

The ridge on the gable roof carries a bronze bell. With a diameter of 82 cm and a height of 66 cm plus a crown of 12 cm, it weighs 289 kg. Their inscription reads: "AVE MARIA GRACI 1540 O REX GLORIE VENI CUM PACE."
