Eternal table of the A-League

The eternal table of the A-League is a ranking list of all championship games of the Australian A-League since it was founded in 2005. The calculation is based on the 3-point rule (three points per win, one point per draw). The games of the play-off system from all previous seasons are not taken into account.

Since the A-League as a franchise league is organized independently of the second-rate National Premier Leagues (NPL), promotion from the NPL to the A-League is not possible, nor is a relegation from the A-League to the NPL. Of the total of 14 participants, two clubs come from New Zealand ; three of these 14 teams have since been disbanded.

First in the ranking at the end of the 2018/19 season is Sydney FC .
