White Squirrels
( White Squirrel )

The city of Exeter was founded by Irish settlers in 1832 and named after Exeter , the capital of the county of Devon in south-west England . Due to its convenient location in the Huron Tract , Exeter offered many opportunities for entrepreneurs and soon developed into a commercial hub for the surrounding region. From 1992 there was a connection to the Goderich – Exeter Railway , which mainly transports car parts, wood products, salt, fertilizers and various types of grain.

Tourism is becoming increasingly important. The occurrence of white squirrel ( white squirrel ) is used in this regard for advertising purposes, the place advertises with the motto Home of the White Squirrel and holds a White Squirrel Festival every spring .
