Cans et Cévennes is a French commune with 284 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Lozère department in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Florac and the canton of Le Collet-de-Dèze . Neighboring municipalities are Florac Trois Rivières in the northwest, Pont de Montvert - Sud Mont Lozère in the northeast, Cassagnas and Barre-des-Cévennes in the west, Vebron in the south and southwest and Florac in the west.

It was created with effect from January 1, 2016 as Commune nouvelle by merging the previous municipalities of Saint-Julien-d'Arpaon and Saint-Laurent-de-Trèves . Since then, these have been Communes déléguées .
