Gorges du Tarn Causses is a French commune in Occitan . It belongs to the Lozère department , the Florac arrondissement and the cantons of Florac and La Canourgue . The Commune nouvelle , formed with effect from January 1, 2017, is named after the Gorges du Tarn in the Cevennes and in the Massif Central . It was created by merging the previously independent municipalities of Sainte-Enimie , Montbrun and Quèzac . Until the French cantons were redesigned in March 2015, these were all part of the (dissolved) canton of Sainte-Enimie. The administrative headquarters are located in the largest and most populous district of Sainte-Enimie.
