Schönbrunn is a district of the Allersberg market in the Roth district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The place is located three kilometers south of the historic Allersberg town center at an altitude of 435  m above sea level. NN . In the north are the southernmost foothills of the Reichswald and the Franconian sand axis , four kilometers south of the apex of the Main-Danube Canal . The place is close to the main European watershed . The Rothsee, located four kilometers to the west, drains to the North Sea, the Schwarzach , which flows three kilometers to the east, into the Black Sea. In the north, the Teufelsgraben flows together with the Silbergraben to form the Schönbrunn stream. This feeds a number of ponds at Eulenhof , which drain into the nearby Rothsee via an unnamed stream. To the northwest there is a burial mound dating back to prehistoric times.

history

The Bavarian original cadastre shows Schönbrunn in the 1810s as a hamlet with six courtyards and a pond to the west.

The residents of the Roman Catholic denomination have been parish in Göggelsbuch , St. Georg since July 16, 1931 , before that they belonged to Allersberg, Assumption of Mary. The parish office is still in Allersberg, the responsible diocese is Eichstätt.

In 1950 there were 52 residents in Schönbrunn in seven buildings.

Schönbrunn belonged to the municipality of Lampersdorf in the district of Hilpoltstein , which was incorporated into the Markt Allersberg , district of Roth , on January 1, 1972 as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .

On May 25, 1987, 44 residents lived in Schönbrunn in nine buildings with a total of twelve apartments.

Schönbrunn had 15 buildings in 2018, including the listed house No. 9, a single-storey, plastered solid construction with a gable roof, roof turrets and three-sided closure from the 19th century. Schönbrunn has 56 inhabitants.

The district road RH 8 leads directly past Schönbrunn. It leads to the state road St 2225 and connects Schönbrunn via the motorway junction (AS 55) with the federal motorway 9 .
