The central project of the Modern Agriculture Forum is the adventure farm, a special exhibition at the International Green Week in Berlin . It is a joint initiative of the German Farmers' Association , the Modern Agriculture Forum and the information.medien.agrar (ima) association under the lead coordination of the Modern Agriculture Forum.

On the adventure farm in Hall 3.2 of the trade fair, around 60 exhibition partners each year present agriculture to touch on 6,000 square meters with animals, stables, arable land and modern machines. The special exhibition is financially supported by the Landwirtschaftliche Rentenbank .

Innovation & Ecology Initiative

“Innovation & Naturhaushalt” is the name of an initiative under the umbrella of the FNL. It was founded in the summer of 2010 with the aim of increasing the public's awareness that productive agriculture and the ecosystem are not in contradiction, but rather need and complement each other. Practical examples are intended to make it clear that agriculture, with its many different animal and plant species, is itself part of the natural balance, and can also contribute to biological diversity through sustainable management and innovative solutions. The initiative sees itself as an open communication platform for all dialogue partners. A new focus of this initiative is the evaluation of so-called “Eh da” areas, e.g. B. unused areas outside of agriculture for the preservation and promotion of biodiversity in cultivated landscapes.
