The Bangkok Christian College Football Club Association is a football club based in Bangkok , Thailand . The club is currently blocked because it was unable to submit the required licensing documents for the 2018 season. If the club resumes play, it must start in the Thailand Amateur League, Bangkok Metropolitan Region, in 2020.
The association was founded in 1997. It belongs to the Bangkok Christian College, one of the oldest schools in Thailand. After its inception, the club managed to move up to the Thai Premier League within a few years . The FC started in what was then the fifth division, the Ngor Royal Cup ( ถ้วย ง. ). As a champion, he rose directly to the fourth division, which was followed by a direct promotion to the third division. In 1999 he was finally promoted to the second division, the Thailand Division 1 League . Narongchai Vachiraban played a major role in the rapid rise of the club at the time . Vachiraban reached the final of the AFC Champions League a short time later with his new club BEC-Tero Sasana . In 2001, the college managed to become champions of the second division. This entitles them to participate in the play-offs for the Premier League. The club met FC TOT . The game was lost 4-0 and the club had to spend another year in the second division. A year later, FC Bangkok Christian College rose to the first division. However, the team's soaring was stopped here. With only 9 points from 18 games, the college club was knocked off bottom of the table. After that, things went steeply downhill for the club. It cannot be statistically proven which path the club took after relegation. The club reappeared in statistics for the first time in 2007. He played in the then Thailand Division 2 League and finished fourth at the end of the season. This place in the table was confirmed with a third place a year later. The ascent was missed by 6 points. From 2009 to 2016 the club played in the third division, the Regional League Division 2 - Bangkok region . The best placement was a 2nd place in the 2014 season. After the introduction of the league reform in 2017, they played in the Thai League 4, Bangkok region. As incomplete licensing documents were submitted for the 2018 season, the club was automatically blocked for the 2018 and 2019 season. If the club wants to play again, it must compete in the Thailand Amateur League, Bangkok Metropolitan Region, in 2020.
