The 2012/13 season was the third regular season of the Federal Hockey League (FHL). On December 15, 2012, the Cape Cod Bluefins were taken over by the league and renamed New York Bluefins, which, however, ceased playing in early 2013. On January 22, 2013, the New Jersey Outlaws were withdrawn from gaming and replaced by the Pennsylvania Blues . The Danbury Whalers prevailed in the finals against the Dayton Demonz and won the Commissioner's Cup.
