The FKB T 1 and 2 and SKB T 1 and 2 were four narrow-gauge diesel railcars built by Dessauer Waggonfabrik AG.
Franzburger Kreisbahn T 1 and T 2
In 1935 and 1939, the Franzburger Kreisbahnen acquired one railcar each from the Dessauer Waggonfabrik. They bore the numbers T 1 and T 2, later Pommersche Landesbahnen 1121 and 1124.
The Deutsche Reichsbahn took over both railcars as VT 137 531 and 532 . The VT 137 531 was converted into a sidecar, VB 147 562, in the 1950s. A toilet was installed instead of the 2nd class compartment. It was scrapped after the Franzburg line was closed.
The VT 137 532 received a new engine from the VEB Dieselmotorenwerk Schönebeck in 1958 , which was replaced several times during upcoming revisions. In 1970 the railcar was given the new number 187 101. It remained in service until 1971. In 1974 the Deutsche Eisenbahn-Verein e. V. and transferred him to Bruchhausen-Vilsen. Since then, it has been in operation on the local museum railway.
Saatziger small railways T 1 and T 2
Two identical vehicles had been in operation with Saatziger Kleinbahnen since 1937, initially as T 1 and T 2, and later with the Pomeranian State Railways with the numbers 1122 and 1123. One railcar was used between Daber and Stargard , the other from Nörenberg in the eastern part of the network. After 1945, the Polish State Railways (PKP) initially gave them the designation Mx 345 and 346, and from 1960 the designation MBxd1 345 and 346. The 345 was used as a railcar on the Warsaw supply railways , the 346 was only used as a trailer car because the Motor served as a spare part donor. At the end of the 1950s, the 346 received an engine again, a Fiat 368 with 125 hp. The railcar 345 was used from 1960 from Gryfice . The MBxd1 346 also came there in 1964. He was given wider sliding doors at one end to be able to load larger items of luggage, and one compartment became the luggage compartment. In 1974 the doors were dismantled, the other doors were also moved towards the center of the car and closed driver's cabs were created. The railcars were in service from 1970 (345) and 1975 (346) on the Koszalin (Köslin) –Bobolice (Bublitz) –Białogard (Belgard) line . In 1970 they also received new company numbers: 00-40 0044 953-0 and 00-46 0044 954-2. In 1982 the first railcar was retired after an accident, the second in 1985 after a fire. Engines and transmissions were replaced several times in both railcars.
Constructive features
Originally, a Daimler-Benz OM 67 diesel engine with 95 hp was installed below the floor . The improved version OM 67/3 with 100 HP was later installed as replacement engines. The power was transmitted via a cardan shaft to the inner axle of the bogies. The four-stage reversing gear was of the Mylius type. The FKB T 1 had a 2nd class compartment in the middle, while the FKB T 2 only had the 3rd class. The Saatziger railcars had a toilet in the larger smoking compartment, but four seats were omitted. The ventilation took place via ventilation flaps above the windows. The third class compartments had wooden slatted seats. The seat division was 3 + 1, in the smoking compartment of the Saatziger railcars due to the toilet 2 + 2.
