The FK Smederevo is a football club from the Serbian town of Smederevo .

history

On May 6, 1924, the association was founded as FK Sartid by the Association of Serbian Shareholders in the Steel Industry (SARTID). In 1949 the club changed its name to FK Smederevo. In the course of the following decades the club changed its name several times. In 1992 the club was renamed back to its original name FK Sartid.

The greatest success of the club was winning the 2003 national cup against Red Star Belgrade . Marko Pantelić scored the winning goal . The following year the club changed its name to today's FK Smederevo.
