Sister ships

The Fair Lady is a sister ship of the Funny Girl and the Kloar Kimming (ex. Westerland ). According to the shipping company Cassen Eils, the Fair Lady is the fastest of the three sister ships.

Use of the ship

The Fair Lady has been sailing from Bremerhaven to Helgoland for the Cassen Eils shipping company since May 20, 2011. She operates this route regularly from the beginning of May to the end of September. Since 2016, trips from Hooksiel to Helgoland with the Fair Lady have been carried out on certain dates. In summer traffic, the ship anchors in the roadstead in front of Heligoland, and passengers are transferred to the island in Börteboots .

After its completion, the ship was used in Heligoland traffic for several years from May 9, 1970 . Then it was used for “ butter trips ” between Kiel and Marstal on the Danish island of Ærø and between Eckernförde and Sønderborg .

After the end of the "butter cruises" in 1999, the ship was chartered to the Insel- und Halligreederei Sven Paulsen in April 2000 , which operated it until April 30, 2004 as Adler Baltica between Zinnowitz and the Polish town of Swinoujscie .

Between July 2005 and December 2010 the ship under the name Lady Assa sailed under the Polish flag in charter for Żegluga Gdańska between Kołobrzeg (Kolberg), Darłowo (Rügenwalde), Ustka (Stolpmünde) in Poland and Nexø on the Danish island of Bornholm .

The Cassen Eils shipping company bought it in January 2011.
