Falkendorf is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Amaliendorf-Aalfang in the Gmünd district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 14 building areas with 3,963 m² and 8 gardens on 871 m² in the cadastral community of Falkendorf, in 1989/1990 there were 13 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 57 and in 2009/2010 there were 24 buildings on 58 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 31 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 1 hectare was forest land. In 1999/2000 21 hectares were used for agriculture and 9 hectares were designated as forest areas. At the end of 2018, 19 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 811 hectares. The average soil climate number of Falkendorf is 17.1 (as of 2010).
