Faverolles is a village in the French department of Cantal in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belonged to the arrondissement of Saint-Flour and most recently to the canton of Neuvéglise . With effect from January 1, 2016, the previous municipality was incorporated into the Commune nouvelle Val d'Arcomie . Since then it has been a Commune déléguée .

The settlement area is about 950 meters above sea level. The municipality marker covered 32.19 km². Neighboring municipalities were Alleuze in the north-west, Anglards-de-Saint-Flour in the north, Loubaresse in the east, Saint-Marc in the south-east, Albaret-le-Comtal in the south and Fridefont in the south-west.
