Feings is a town and commune Déléguée in the French commune of Le Controis-en-Sologne with 714 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loir-et-Cher in the region Center-Val de Loire . The inhabitants are called Montholiens .
On January 1, 2019, the municipality of Feings merged with Thenay , Fougères-sur-Bièvre , Ouchamps and Contres to form the Commune nouvelle Le Controis-en-Sologne. It belonged to the arrondissement Romorantin-Lanthenay and was part of the canton Blois-3 (until 2015: canton Contres )
geography
Feings is about 16 kilometers south of Blois am Bièvre in the Sologne . Feings is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Fougères-sur-Bièvre in the north and northwest, Chitenay in the north, Cormeray in the northeast, Fresnes in the east, Contres in the south and Thenay in the west and southwest.
