Ferdinand Schnaidt

Ferdinand Schnaidt (born May 21, 1840 in Hohenhaslach ; † January 12, 1910 in Ludwigsburg ) was a bank director and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Schnaidt attended the Markgröningen Latin School and the Lyceum in Ludwigsburg. He then devoted himself to administration and in 1863 became a police commissioner in Ludwigsburg. Between 1864 and 1872 he was mayor in Tamm , then until 1884 administrator of the municipal economy, gas and water works in Ludwigsburg. In 1884 he became director of the savings and advances bank there, and from 1886 he was also a councilor.

From 1882 to 1900 and from 1906 until his death, Schnaidt was a member of the People's Party in the Württemberg state parliament . From 1890 to 1898 he also had a mandate in the German Reichstag for the constituency of Württemberg 2 ( Cannstatt , Ludwigsburg , Marbach , Waiblingen ) and the German People's Party .

In 1909 he was made an honorary citizen of Ludwigsburg.
