Ferhat Bakal (born March 16, 1998 ) is a Turkish ice hockey player who has been under contract with Zeytinburnu Belediye SK in the Turkish Super League since 2015 .

Career

Ferhat Bakal began his career as a hockey player at Kocaeli Büyükşehir Belediyesi Kağıt SK , for whom he was on the ice in the Turkish U18 league. He spent the 2014/15 season at İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi SK . Since 2015 he has been on the ice for Zeytinburnu Belediye SK from Istanbul in the super league . He won the Turkish championship title with the club in 2016 and 2017 .

International

For Turkey, Bakal took part in the junior division in Division III at the U18 World Championships in 2014 and 2016 and the U20 World Championships in 2014 , 2015 , 2016 , when he was also the best striker as the top scorer, top scorer and player with the best plus / minus balance of the tournament and was voted the best player on his team, and participated in 2017 .

With the men's national team he played for the first time at the 2016 World Cup in Division III and achieved immediate promotion to Division II. At the 2017 World Cup , he played in Division II and scored the Turkish 1-0 winner in the game against Mexico in their only win at this tournament. He scored two more goals in the 7-2 loss to China .
