The 3rd Festival da Canção ( Portuguese III Grande Prémio TV da Cançao 1966 ) took place on January 15, 1966 in the Tóbis studios in Lisbon. It served as the Portuguese preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest in 1966 .

The program was hosted by Henrique Mendes .

Madalena Iglésias emerged as the winner with the title Ele e ela . At the Eurovision Song Contest in Luxembourg she received six points and ended up in 13th place.
