Finder Spyder

Finder-Spyder is the name of a fictional search engine company . Fictional companies are popular in the film industry, especially in the English-speaking world. Other examples are ACME , Oceanic Airlines or Morley Cigarettes . Finder-Spyder is one of the ten best-known fictional brands .

Often the producers have to switch to non-existent companies for trademark protection reasons . The counterpart to this is product placement . By using the company name in the film, an advertising effect or other benefit is achieved for an existing company. Finder-Spyder appears in many different films and series. The online presence is not uniform. Finder-Spyder's external presentation is partly reminiscent of Google .
