Morley Cigarettes

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Morley Cigarettes is the name of a fictional cigarette maker . Fictional companies are popular in the film industry, especially in the English-speaking world. Other examples are ACME , Finder-Spyder or Oceanic Airlines .

For trademark protection reasons , producers often have to switch to non-existent companies. The counterpart to this is product placement ; by using the company name in the film, an advertising effect or some other benefit is achieved for an existing company. Morley Cigarettes appears in many different films and series. The external presentation of the brand, especially the lettering on the boxes, is strongly reminiscent of existing cigarette manufacturers.
