Paul Stephen Rudd (born April 6, 1969 in Passaic , New Jersey ) is an American film actor , screenwriter and film producer .

Life

1998 Rudd was seen in the cinema together with Jennifer Aniston in the very successful film Love in Every Relationship . He also played in the movies On the Edge , Liebe per Express and Clueless - What Else! With. He was also seen in a guest role in the television series of the same name .

In the comedy television series Friends , he played the role of Mike (in seasons nine and ten), who falls in love with Phoebe ( Lisa Kudrow ). In 2004 he appeared in a supporting role in Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy . A wild, soft-core rock star, he appeared in a season three episode of the teen noir television series Veronica Mars .

In 2005 he was in the film Virgo (40), male, looking ... by Judd Apatow . He also directed his next film, The First Time , in 2007 . On July 1, 2015, Rudd was honored with the unveiling of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the presence of his family and fellow actor Michael Douglas .

Rudd is married to Julie Yaeger. The two have a son and a daughter.
