Salesman Jimmy Starks dreams of big, profitable deals that he expects in the near future. While on a business trip, he is stranded in a town in New Mexico where his car is being repaired. There he has the future foretold to pass the time and hears that he should die as soon as the first snow falls.
Starks is becoming more and more obsessed with prediction. He hides it from his girlfriend Deirdre, but reveals himself to his colleague Ed Jacomoi.
Reviews
Sheri Linden wrote in the Hollywood Reporter on February 8, 2007 that the film was "a fresh, intelligent and thoroughly involving psychological thriller" . The "strong" actors would breathe life into the "lyrical, but never contrived" dialogues.
Ronnie Scheib wrote in Variety magazine on March 26, 2007 that the “atmospheric” psychological thriller offers a nuanced character study with well-selected elements such as landscapes, strong supporting actors and credible play by the main actor.

The film was shot in Albuquerque and a few other locations in New Mexico . Its world premiere took place on May 5, 2006 at the Tribeca Film Festival , which was followed by several other film festivals. The film was released directly on DVD in numerous countries such as Greece , Hungary and the Netherlands .
